Sales Apprenticeships

Sales apprenticeships have been developed in-conjunction with businesses to develop those within sales roles and transferring into sales roles. The skills garnered from the apprenticeships are beneficial to those within both B2B and B2C sales roles at both an executive and management level.

What apprenticeships are available?

Currently there are two sales apprenticeship levels available, the sales executive apprenticeship and the business to business sales professional (degree).

Who are these apprenticeships for?

The sales executive apprenticeship has been created for those working in a direct sales role within a B2B or B2C market.

The business to business sales professional degree has been created for high level sales professionals working within a account management or sales management position.

These apprenticeship programmes are available to both Levy and Non-Levy paying organisations.

Who has created this apprenticeship?

The sales apprenticeship standards have been created in conjunction with 29 companies including but not limited to the APS, Mondottica, Bauer Media, Level 3, BT, Warburtons, CPM, Whitbread, GlaxoSmithKline, Eric Richmond Limited, Singletrack Limited, Koru, iSales, Pepsico.

What areas are covered in these apprenticeships?

Each apprenticeship covers core units focused on the fundamental role responsibilities at the undertaken level as well as delivering a high professional standard within the role.

Each apprenticeship will also cover specific elective units which will allow businesses to tailor apprenticeships to focus key industry and business challenges.

Professional Academy will provide organisations with an apprenticeship structure which suits each businesses individual needs whilst the candidate is completing the apprenticeship programme.

How long will they take?

Apprenticeships completion times depended on the level of which is being undertaken ranging from 12 months for an intermediate course to 18 months for an advanced apprenticeship. Degree apprenticeships will take a minimum of 3 years to complete and may require days at an approved university.
